My art gives viewers an introspective journey to find awe in the world. Finding awe can inspire contentment, health, humility, and connection to the world. I believe that awe is the first step to healing ourselves and our relationship to our planet.
Recently, I produced a mandala series celebrating the seasons, solstices, and holidays. Holidays can be challenging transitional points of the year and trigger loneliness for many people. The production of cheap holiday goods creates excessive waste and contributes to our landfills. Loneliness and waste are symptoms of our disconnection from planet. To counter that, I have created seasonal art that is celebratory, beautiful, and symbolic genuine connection to nature and community.
